Country Quest - Nepal #168

Today, 27 March 2023, I touched down in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. The arrival in Nepal takes my country tally to 168 countries and territories, or 63% of the world total. My previous 'acquisition' was Bhutan; the next target is Bangladesh. Watch this space.

I use the 'been' app to keep track of my countries. The orange bits are the places I have been, while the grey bits denote countries I have yet to visit. The 'been' app is useful for capturing a snapshot of visited countries, given how the world looks at this very moment. Note, however, that 'been' will not give credit for visits to countries no longer in existence, such as East Germany, Yugoslavia, or Sudan prior to its division into Sudan and South Sudan.
