Country Quest - Bhutan #167

Today, 19 March 2023, I touched down in Paro, Bhutan. Bhutan takes my country tally to 167 countries and territories. Due to rounding, the percentage tally - meaning what percentage of the world I have been to - remains at 62%. My most recent 'acquisition' prior to Bhutan was Maldives. The next two targets are Nepal and Bangladesh. All in due time.

I am using the 'been' app to keep track of my countries. The 'been' app is useful for capturing a snapshot of the countries I have been to, given how the world looks at this very moment. This is useful, but note that 'been' will not give credit for visits to countries, which no longer exist, such as East Germany, Yugoslavia, or Sudan prior to its division into Sudan and South Sudan.
